J'aime bien ce genre de compétition m^mem si le plateau est hétéroclite et s'il est difficile de s'y retrouver dans les catégories

Mais là, on compare plus de la Porsche GT3 ou Exige V6 de trackday...

comme Greg le dit; c est pas forcément pire que la plupart des autres championnats, mais c est pas mieux non plus.

ca pourrait par contre s empirer puisque le championnat est a vendre et va probablement dès la saison prochaine etre organisé par un promoteur tout a fait exterieur au monde Lotus.

Oui le châssis est juste hallucinant en stabilité, efficacité, franchement fort

Fabuleux ! Mais ca c'est loin des voiture route qu'on parle....en plus, ceci est en PNEUS SLICK et la voiture a 400cv ...... on est tres tres tres loin d'une comparaison. Ce temps me parait tout a fait normal avec ce poids/cv. Meme pas exceptionelle.

The Lotus Europa development

In the move to GT Cup there have been a raft of changes to improve the Europa’s performance to achieve parity with the strong GT opposition from the likes of Corvette, Dodge, Lamborghini, Porsche and Ferrari. Importantly, the engine power has increased to over 400bhp through improvements to the Turbocharger system in collaboration with TDI plc. in Thurrock.
The extensive increase in both torque and power output has required some other compensation in transmission and braking areas, which, together with the switch to Pirelli slicks, has made a striking performance improvement. Hofmann’s technical partner, Nitron racing, have developed new improved suspension uprights and brake disk bells to compliment this package, allowing the car to run lower to the ground, increasing the aerodynamic download and also improving the cars stopping potential.
These changes have not compromised the famous agility demonstrated in all Lotus models. Data gained from the first runs in testing suggests that the additional power has actually increased the aerodynamic effect of the Reverie produced wing and underfloor by a large margin.

C'est du semi-slick Avon ZZR qui est utilisé en LCUK. Mais ils ont droit à du racing pluie.
Mais comme dit Jokke, ont est loin des voitures de série comme une GT3 RS ou une Exige V6.
Et même dans cette configuration pure piste, elles font à peine mieux ou aussi bien que Porsche... le débat est pas de savoir si les Porsche sont plus vite, elles le sont!
Mais à quel prix, et accessible à quel niveau de pilotage...

Un GT3 est plus vite a Spa, pas a Zolder, Mettet, Abbeville, Ecuyers, Croix...... sur et certain.

Sur SELOC, il parle de 260 aux roues non ? Après vrai ou pas je n'en sais rien, mais le couple sur ce bloque c'est du 40+

Just back in after the LOTRDC round at Spa. We scored pole, fastest lap and led the race for the most part until the fuel pump died unexpectedly ( ). The Europa was epic though, here is my fastest lap of the weekend which was a 2:38.3. For perspective my old Exige did a 2:40 with 290@ the hubs and 750 kg and the Europa has 260@ the hubs and 840kg. Nobody got anywhere near this lap time through the weekend, both in Cup UK, Europa and Eastern Europe. Credit to all the work I do with Nitron on the 46mm dampers, the engine work with TDI, the cooling setup I've done with Pro-Alloy and recently the aero work which gives me the speed through the quicker corners.

Il a du reduire la puissance parce-que il ne voulait pas humilier les autres en passant sous les 2 minutes...
